Mr. Sanjay Varma, is a doctor who specializes in three areas of the medical field: general plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. He is a well respected member of several medical organizations, including: The Royal Society of Medicine, The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and The British Association of Plastic Surgeons. His plastic surgery and cosmetic practice is very well established. Patients can enjoy the convenience of two office locations, one in Leicester and one in Lincoln.

Mr. Sanjay Varma graduated from one of the most prestigious institutions in India, The All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Mr. Varma earned a Bachelor’s degree of Medicine as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Surgery. He received Fellowships of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. It was in November of 1993 that he received the appointment of Consultant Plastic Surgeon with the National Health Service.

Mr. Varma has medical practices at several locations including: Loughborough General Hospital, Leicestershire Partnership National Health Service Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester National Heath Service Trust and Melton Mowbray and Lincoln. The General Medical Council’s Specialist Register has listed Mr. Varma since May 1985.

Mr. Varma is currently in private practice at the following hospitals:

• Spire Leicester Hospital
• Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital

Each of the hospitals in which Mr. Varma maintains a practice are fully registered by the Healthcare Commission and are in complete and total compliance with the National Care Standard Act. He is also the Taj Medical Group's UK-based consultant for plastic surgery. Mr. Varma is currently involved in both the training and preparation of up and coming doctors. He is currently an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) examination, and is an examiner in Plastic Surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons Intercollegiate Board.

With decades of extensive experience, Mr. Varma specializes in many different plastic surgery procedures, including: breast augmentation, breast reduction for both women and men, breast uplift and inverted nipple correction surgery. He is also experienced in a variety of facial surgeries, including: face lifts, blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty. The doctor also performs liposuction, abdominoplasty and upper arm and thigh reductions. Mr. Varma offers sarcoma reconstruction and lower limb trauma reconstruction, as well as carpal tunnel release, Dupuytrens fasciectomies and ganglion surgery. Additionally, Mr. Varma treats adults and children in the removal of moles, cysts or birthmarks. He also revises scars and corrects protruding ears.
